Control the AC by hand

Normally you leave the automation to your comfort range, but when you want it “a little stronger just for now” or “off for a moment,” you can drive the AC directly from the dashboard.

On the area card in the dashboard, tap the AC icon (bottom-right, where the current running state is shown) to open the control panel.

In the panel you can:

  • Pick a modeCool / Off / Heat
  • Step the setpoint — use + while cooling or heating
  • Apply to send, Cancel to close without doing anything

Nothing is sent to the AC until you press Apply. The display updates the moment you apply.

The setpoint moves around your comfort range, in 0.5°C steps. When cooling it centers on the comfort ceiling; when heating, on the floor — roughly ±3°C either way.

If you want to change things more than that, adjust the range itself. → Comfort range

What you do here is a one-off nudge. On areas with automation ON, after your manual change the following automatic cycles will bring control back toward your comfort range.

  • Example: set cooling stronger → once the room reaches the comfort range, automation eases back to normal operation
  • If you manually set “Off”, automation will resume once the room leaves the range

So: use manual control for “a tweak right now,” and the comfort range for “how I always want it.”

Manual control is available on every plan (and regardless of whether automation is ON).
