Billing and receipts
unawair’s billing and payments are handled by LemonSqueezy, a Lithuanian payment processor that acts as the Merchant of Record. Receipt downloads, payment method updates, and billing history are all done from the LemonSqueezy Customer Portal.
Open the Customer Portal
Section titled “Open the Customer Portal”- Log in to unawair and open Subscription from the menu.
- In the “Subscription management” section, click the button matching your goal.
- You’ll be redirected to LemonSqueezy.
The buttons map to these portal pages:

Download a receipt
Section titled “Download a receipt”- From the subscription management page, click Invoices / history.
- The LemonSqueezy billing history opens, listed by date / amount / status.
- Click Download on the row you want — a PDF invoice is saved to your device.
The PDF includes everything required by Japan’s qualified invoice (適格請求書) system (see below). For expense reimbursement or bookkeeping, submitting this PDF is sufficient.
Qualified-invoice system (Japan)
Section titled “Qualified-invoice system (Japan)”LemonSqueezy is registered with Japan’s National Tax Agency as a qualified invoice issuer, and the PDF invoice contains:
- Qualified invoice issuer registration number: T4700150126198
- Transaction date
- Consideration broken out per tax rate (subtotal / consumption tax amount)
- Applicable tax rate (10%)
unawair does not issue separate invoices — the PDF LemonSqueezy generates already meets the National Tax Agency’s requirements.
Update your payment method
Section titled “Update your payment method”If your credit card expires or you want to switch cards, use the Payment method action to update. LemonSqueezy supports credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal (the exact options depend on what’s available in your region).
If a payment fails, the subscription status becomes past_due. Automatic control continues for a few days, but if the payment method isn’t updated soon, the status moves to unpaid and automatic control stops. We recommend updating early.
Auto-pause when control has been idle for a long time
Section titled “Auto-pause when control has been idle for a long time”If automatic control does not run at all for 30 days, unawair automatically pauses your subscription and stops further billing. This safeguard prevents charges piling up for a service that isn’t doing anything. We email you in advance before pausing (at 14 and 21 days).
If you receive a notice email, check on the dashboard whether your Areas are enabled and whether your thermo-hygrometers and ACs are connected. Even after a pause you can resume anytime from the Customer Portal, and your Area settings are preserved.
