Subscription overview
unawair is free to sign up for. The only paid feature is automatic control — the part that actually sends commands to your AC every 10 minutes. This page is the hub: the line between free and paid, the trial, and where to go to manage billing.
Free vs subscribed
Section titled “Free vs subscribed”| Feature | Free | Subscribed |
|---|---|---|
| Sign up, connect integrations (SwitchBot / Nature Remo) | ✓ | ✓ |
| Create areas, record temperatures, view charts | ✓ | ✓ |
| Manually send a command to an AC (one tap from the dashboard) | ✓ | ✓ |
| Automatic control (every 10 minutes, cool / heat / off based on the comfort range) | — | ✓ |
Even on the free tier, unawair still records what it would have done every 10 minutes. The chart shows those non-applied decisions, so you can see “if I had subscribed, this is what would have happened” before paying.
14-day free trial
Section titled “14-day free trial”When you start a subscription, the first 14 days are not charged. Cancel during the trial and nothing is billed, so you can try automatic control with real equipment risk-free. You’ll get an email reminder as the trial end approaches.
The “manual run” step before checkout
Section titled “The “manual run” step before checkout”Before you can reach the checkout page, you must successfully run one manual command to an AC from the dashboard. If a plan’s signup button reads “Locked” on the price table, that step hasn’t been completed yet.
- Why: it prevents the unfortunate case of subscribing only to discover that commands don’t actually reach your AC. One successful manual run proves the full path — unawair → integration vendor → your AC — works.
- How: from the dashboard, pick “Manual run” on an area and confirm the AC responds (cool / heat / off — any of them is fine).
- It only needs to succeed once; after that the gate stays unlocked.
unawair has three plans — Solo / Pro / Max. They differ mainly in the number of areas you can automate and the number of integrations you can register. For each plan’s price (monthly / yearly) and limits, see Compare plans.
Billing management
Section titled “Billing management”Payments and invoicing go through LemonSqueezy (a Lithuanian payment processor):
- Receipts and payment method changes: Billing and receipts
- Cancel or resume: Cancel
- Both operations open the LemonSqueezy Customer Portal from unawair’s subscription management page.
Next steps
Section titled “Next steps”- Compare plans — Solo / Pro / Max limits and prices.
- Billing and receipts — receipt downloads, payment method changes, qualified-invoice info.
- Cancel — how to cancel, how long access continues, how to resume.
