Q. Is unawair free to use? A. Sign-up, integrations, area setup, and temperature logging are free. Only automatic control is unlocked once you subscribe. See Subscription overview for the full picture.

Q. Are there payment methods other than credit card? A. Whatever LemonSqueezy supports (credit / debit / PayPal, depending on your region). The exact list shown to you varies by country.

Q. Can I get a qualified-invoice receipt? A. Yes — LemonSqueezy is a registered qualified-invoice issuer in Japan and provides PDFs with the registration number. See Billing and receipts.

Q. Can I change plans later? A. Yes, any time. Solo ↔ Pro ↔ Max and monthly ↔ yearly are all switchable from the LemonSqueezy Customer Portal. The difference is prorated and applied to your next invoice.

Q. What happens to my data after I cancel? A. Your account and data are preserved. Resubscribing later picks up exactly where you left off. Deleting the account is a separate action. See Cancel.

Q. Which ACs are supported? A. Any AC that can be controlled via a SwitchBot or Nature Remo IR remote, regardless of manufacturer or model. If you can send cool / heat / off from the vendor app, unawair will work too.

Q. Can I use SwitchBot and Nature Remo at the same time? A. Yes, both can be registered side-by-side. You can even register the same AC under both vendors to get failover redundancy (see “Control mode” on Create an area).

Q. Can I mix vendors for thermometer and AC? A. Yes. Within an area, the thermometer and AC roles can come from different devices — and different vendors. Measuring with a SwitchBot meter while controlling the AC via Nature Remo is fine.

Q. How often does unawair run? A. Every 10 minutes (a tick) — it re-evaluates each area and sends commands as needed.

Q. How long after a setting change does it take effect? A. Up to 10 minutes (the next tick picks it up).

Q. Can I automate the same AC across multiple areas? A. No. Automation can be ON in only one area at a time; saving the second area triggers a conflict. If you want to swap which area drives an AC seasonally, toggle automation off on one before turning it on for the other.

Q. How long is my temperature data kept? A. As long as your account exists. The chart goes back up to one year.

Q. What happens if I don’t sign in for a long time? A. Free (unsubscribed) accounts that go 180 days without a sign-in are deleted automatically, with prior email warnings. Subscribed accounts are not affected.

Q. Are the device tokens I provide safe? A. Device tokens (SwitchBot Token / Secret, Nature Remo Access Token) are encrypted with KMS before being stored and are decrypted only inside the tick worker. They are never readable from the frontend or admin tools.
